Half Whiskey Barrel
Our half barrels start their life at cooperages in the Pacific Northwest, built from American white oak and charred on the inside to age bourbon and whiskey. After three runs through the distillery, the oak stops imparting flavor to the spirit and the barrels are retired. We source these retired barrels from Oregon and nearby distilleries and bring them to Vancouver Island. Cut precisely in half, they make incredible garden planters, fire pits, water features, or statement decor pieces. Every barrel carries real char, real stave wear, and decades of distillery history.
